Rolling road remap

Our rolling road remap is a service provided by Dervtech that helps to improve the performance of your vehicle.

A rolling road remap involves measuring vehicle performance using a calibrated test rig, known as a dyno or rolling road.  We read live data from the vehicle whilst measuring the performance to ensure the engine is operating safely and within the parameters required by the engine control unit (ECU).

Using a multitude of master tuning and datalogging tools we can read the data from your vehicle and edit the software accordingly in house using WinOLS.  This ensures we have full access and control over your engine or gearbox behaviour to get the best possible performance from your vehicle without compromising on safety.

We have a wide range of experience with all makes and models of vehicles, so you can be sure that we will be able to help you get the most out of your tuning session.

What do I need to know about dyno tuning?

Things to consider when your car is on the rolling road (dyno):

We have comprehensive insurance cover to ensure peace of mind whilst carrying out all tuning - but bear in mind that your vehicle will be pushed hard often hitting speeds exceeding 150mph. With this in mind you should check a few things before booking a dyno session or tuning on the dyno:

• Check your tyres for sufficient tread, any damage and correct pressures,
• Check for any oil or coolant leaks,
• Ensure wheel balance is correct, and your vehicle tracking is good,
• Check wheel bolts for tightness,
• Make sure tyres have been heat cycled if recently replaced.

We treat your vehicle as if it was one of our own, so the above points help ensure your session goes smoothly.  You will receive a digital copy of your dyno report at the end of the session via email so you don't have to worry about keeping a paper copy safe.
